Institutional (Insto) Account Opening

It is up to you to determine if your client is "Retail" or "Institutional/Insto" and this will inform the type of account you open for them. 

Generally the criterea to qualify as institutional is:

  1. A Professional Investor who is a person who has or controls gross assets of at least $10m, or operating on behalf of an AFSL; and  
  2. Are investing the money of others on their behalf; and
  3. Settles DVP
