To bulk import journals from a spreadsheet, first create your batch, then open the batch and select the import button.
Click "download template" to access the correct file format for the bulk upload.
Once you are ready to import, select the import button again and either drag and drop your file, or click to select a file to upload.
Once a file has been added, the import button will appear blue and allow you to click to process the import. Data from the file will be loaded automatically into the batch as individual journal lines.
Be mindful of potential errors in your upload file:
- If a row cannot be loaded, a message will appear at top of screen.
- If there is a invalid account number in the file, the row will load but the account number field will be blank, you will then need to add the account number before submitting.
